Break-Bone Fever(Dengue)

Dengue , a widespread disease is becoming more common, where mosquito preventive measures are neglected.Thousands of cases were reported in India, Bangladesh and Singapore every year. While mosquitoes are vectors for this disease , in forest ,monkeys hosts this disease in forests !

There are about 50 million new cases of dengue fever around the world each year and about 2.5 billion people, two-fifths of the world’s population, are at risk.

Symptoms of classic dengue include fever, joint ache, severe headaches, weakness, and skin rashes.  Mild dengue has the same symptoms but lasts just three days. Recovery is complete but weakness and depression can linger for weeks.

There is no vaccin for Dengue .
Prevention is better than cure always !
